AskMyFeet — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026

AskMyFeet is an educational foot-health app. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past — it is short.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your email address and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never visible to us).
• Optional profile details: age range, activity level, diabetes status, and language preference — only if you choose to provide them.
• Check data: the answers you select during a check (symptoms, durations, areas of the foot) and any photos of your feet you choose to take or upload.
• Generated content: the educational explanations and scores the app produces for you, saved to your history.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. How your data is used

Your data is used for exactly one purpose: providing the service to you. Your check answers and photos are used to generate educational content about what your inputs commonly represent, and your history is stored so you can review past checks and track changes over time.

3. AI processing

To generate educational content, your check answers and any photos you attach are sent securely to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) for processing via their API. Under Anthropic's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. Anthropic processes this data under contractual terms that require protections equivalent to those described in this policy, and does not retain it beyond what processing requires. The AI's output is educational information only — the app does not diagnose and is not a medical device.

4. Where your data lives

Your account and history are stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). Our backend runs on Railway. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and access is restricted to your own account through row-level security.

5. What we never do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your photos or health inputs for marketing or model training.
• Nobody but you can see your photos and check history.

6. Retention and deleting your data

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and everything in it — history, photos, scores, profile — at any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

7. Children

AskMyFeet is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Your rights and how to reach us

You can access your data in the app, and delete it as described above. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@askmyfeet.app.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be communicated in the app.

AskMyFeet تطبيق تثقيفي لصحة القدم. توضح هذه السياسة البيانات التي يجمعها التطبيق وكيفية استخدامها والخيارات المتاحة لك — وهي قصيرة ومكتوبة لتُقرأ.

1. ما الذي نجمعه

• بيانات الحساب: بريدك الإلكتروني وكلمة المرور (تُدار كلمات المرور عبر مزوّد المصادقة ولا يمكننا الاطلاع عليها).
• تفاصيل الملف الشخصي الاختيارية: الفئة العمرية، مستوى النشاط، حالة السكري، ولغة الاستخدام — فقط إذا اخترت تقديمها.
• بيانات الفحص: الإجابات التي تختارها أثناء الفحص (الأعراض، المدة، مناطق القدم) وأي صور لقدميك تختار التقاطها أو رفعها.
• المحتوى المُنشأ: الشروحات التثقيفية والمؤشرات التي ينتجها التطبيق لك، وتُحفظ في سجلك.

لا نجمع موقعك الدقيق ولا جهات اتصالك ولا معرّفات إعلانية، ولا يحتوي التطبيق على أي إعلانات أو أدوات تحليلات.

2. كيف تُستخدم بياناتك

تُستخدم بياناتك لغرض واحد فقط: تقديم الخدمة لك. تُستخدم إجاباتك وصورك لإنشاء محتوى تثقيفي حول ما تمثله مدخلاتك عادةً، ويُحفظ سجلك لتتمكن من مراجعة الفحوصات السابقة ومتابعة التغيرات مع الوقت.

3. المعالجة بالذكاء الاصطناعي

لإنشاء المحتوى التثقيفي، تُرسل إجاباتك وأي صور ترفقها بشكل آمن إلى Anthropic (مزوّد نموذج Claude للذكاء الاصطناعي) للمعالجة عبر واجهتهم البرمجية. بموجب شروط واجهة Anthropic البرمجية، لا تُستخدم هذه البيانات لتدريب نماذجهم. تعالج Anthropic هذه البيانات بموجب شروط تعاقدية تُلزمها بتوفير حماية معادلة لما هو موضح في هذه السياسة، ولا تحتفظ بها لأكثر مما تتطلبه المعالجة. مخرجات الذكاء الاصطناعي معلومات تثقيفية فقط — التطبيق لا يشخّص وليس جهازًا طبيًا.

4. أين تُخزَّن بياناتك

يُخزَّن حسابك وسجلك لدى Supabase (مزوّد قاعدة البيانات والمصادقة). تعمل خدمتنا الخلفية على Railway. البيانات مشفّرة أثناء النقل (HTTPS/TLS)، والوصول مقصور على حسابك أنت عبر ضوابط أمان على مستوى الصفوف.

5. ما لا نفعله أبدًا

• لا نبيع بياناتك.
• لا نشاركها مع معلنين أو وسطاء بيانات.
• لا نستخدم صورك أو مدخلاتك الصحية للتسويق أو لتدريب النماذج.
• لا أحد غيرك يمكنه رؤية صورك وسجل فحوصاتك.

6. الاحتفاظ بالبيانات وحذفها

نحتفظ ببياناتك طوال وجود حسابك. يمكنك حذف حسابك وكل ما فيه نهائيًا — السجل والصور والمؤشرات والملف الشخصي — في أي وقت من داخل التطبيق: الملف الشخصي ← حذف الحساب. الحذف فوري ولا يمكن التراجع عنه.

7. الأطفال

AskMyFeet غير موجّه للأطفال دون 13 عامًا، ولا نجمع بياناتهم عن قصد.

8. حقوقك وكيفية التواصل معنا

يمكنك الاطلاع على بياناتك داخل التطبيق وحذفها كما هو موضح أعلاه. لأي سؤال أو طلب يتعلق بالخصوصية، راسلنا على info@askmyfeet.app.

9. التغييرات على هذه السياسة

إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة، سيُحدَّث تاريخ السريان أعلاه. وسيتم الإعلان عن أي تغييرات جوهرية داخل التطبيق.
